About me

Hello. This is my personal site. If you’re looking for me at a networking event or Tweetup, the image above will show you what I look like.

I am wedded to the idea of bringing about what Umair Haque calls “behavioural innovation” within modern organisations by using communications as a vehicle to facilitate a conversation between them and their stakeholders. During these interactions organisations can gain a sense of consciousness about how their business activities impact upon communities and (where relevant) change their thinking so that they become more in sync with the ‘issues of the moment’, such as the ‘triple bottom line‘, allowing groups of dedicated people to be the collective faces of the company; replacing the old perception of the uncommunicative ‘faceless corporation’.

I spend a lot of time experimenting with social technologies and seeing how they work. How relevant to my life and the lives of others they are. Which networks allow me to discover people I would never have met otherwise through communities of interest.
